The Assam Public Service Commission has officially announced the recruitment notification for Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) positions under the Women & Child Development Department on December 14, 2024.

As per the notification brochure released officially by the Assam Public Service Commission, there are a total number 49 vacancies for the post of Child Development Project Officer (Allied Cadres) under the Women & Child Development Department.
Note: Out of total vacancies, 20 for General, 15 for Other Backward Class, 04 for Scheduled Caste, 6 for Scheduled Tribes (Plans) and 04 for Scheduled Tribes (Hills).
APSC CDPO Eligibility Criterias 2024
Eligibility criteria for the post of CDPO under the WCDD are available below.
Educational Qualification – An individual must have pursued any of the following:
Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with Philosophy/Education:
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce.
The degree should include Philosophy or Education as a specialization.
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce.
Additionally, the candidate should possess a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Social Works, Labour & Social Welfare, Sociology, Anthropology, or Criminology.
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Home Science, or Nutrition.
Age Limit – One’s age must not be below 21 and above 38 years as of January 01, 2024 i.e. a candidate must not be born before January 1, 2002, and should not exceed 38 years of age as of January 1, 2024.
