The Bihar Vidhan Parishad released the advertisement notice for the direct recruitment for the posts of Assistant Branch Officer in the Administrative Cadre, Data entry Operator, and Stenographer on 8th March 2024.

As per the notification, the number of vacancies is a total of 26, out of which 19 posts are available for the Assistant Branch Officer, 5 for Data entry Operator, and 2 for Stenographer.

Who qualifies for the Bihar Vidhan Parishad 2024 Recruitment?

Candidates who are interested in applying for the Bihar Vidhan Parishad 2024 Recruitment can check their eligibility from the following eligibility criteria as per the notification:

Age limit:

For the post of Assistant Benahc Officer, the applicant must come under the age group of 21 to 37 years.

For the post of Data Entry Operator, the applicant must come under the age group of 18 to 37 years.

For the post of Stenographer, the applicant must come under the age group of 21 to 37 years.

The age relaxation for all the posts is as follows:

General (Male – 37 years)

Unreserved (female)/ Backward class Male/ Female – 40 years

SC/ ST Male/female – 42 years

Educational Qualification and Experience:

For Assistant Branch Officer:

The applicant must have attained a Graduation degree from a recognized university by the State and Central.

The applicant must possess a Hindi and English typing speed of 30 words per minute.

The applicant must have the certificate in Computer course recognized by DOEACC/AICTE/NIELIT

Or the applicants have a computer proficiency test.

Or Qualification in subjects equivalent to “O” level syllabus and duration as prescribed by the DOEACC/AICTE/NIELIT.

For Data Entry Operator:

The applicant must have passed the 12th exams from a recognized board by the State and Central.

The applicant must possess a speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on a computer.

The computer course requirement is the same as for the post of Assistant Branch Officer.

For Stenographer post:

The applicant must have attained a Graduation degree from a recognized university by the State and Central.

The applicant must possess a stenogra[hy speed in Hindi of 70 words per minute.

Typing speed in Hindi and English of 30 words per minute.

The computer course requirement is the same as for the post of Assistant Branch Officer.
