HPSC Ayurvedic Medical Officer Vacancy 2024
As per advertisement released by the HPSC, there are a total number of 805 vacancies for the post of Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Group B) in the Health & Ayush Department. Candidates need to know that out of total, 427, 161, 88, 48 and 81 are reserved for General, Schedule Caste, Backward Class – A, Backward Class – B, and Economically Weaker Section, respectively.
HPSC Ayurvedic Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility criteria for the post of Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Group B) in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a degree in the Ayurvedic System of Medicine. Additionally, they should have knowledge of Hindi up to the Matric standard and be registered with the Board of Ayurvedic/Unani System of Medicine, Haryana (Indian Medical Council of Haryana).
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 23 and 42 years old as of June 1, 2024. The upper age relaxation for BC-A, BC-B and Schedule Caste is 5 years.
HPSC Ayurvedic Medical Officer Application Fee 2024
In order to apply for recruitment of Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Group-B) in Health & Ayush Department, Haryana, an individual who belongs to General or Backward Class (Creamy Layer) will have to make payment of 1,000 rupees as application fee, and the payable amount for the SC, BC(NCL), EWS, Ex-Servicemen and all female aspirants is only 250 rupees.
Note: Candidates need to know that aspirants who are not native of Haryana, will have to pay an application fee of ₹1000, whether he or she is male or female and belongs to any category. PwBD candidates of Haryana are exempted from it, they aren’t required to pay even one rupee.
HPSC Ayurvedic Medical Officer Selection Process 2024
The selection process for the recruitment of Ayurvedic Medical Officers (Group-B) in the Health & Ayush Department, Haryana is likely to consist of two stages, which are Written Examination and Interview.
Written Exam:
It is likely to be held by the Haryana Public Service Commission most probably in August/September 2024, if officials decide to conduct it.
Candidates need to know it will be held in offline mode to shortlist the aspirants for second stage of selection process i.e. Interview.
If the HPSC decides to hold the written exam, they will release the syllabus with exam pattern most probably four to six prior to the exam date.
Interview:
Candidates who will clear the Written Exam will be called for it.
If the written exam is not held, the candidate’s will be shortlisted for Interview based on their academic performance.
It will be held in the Face-to-face mode, it is estimated that it runs upto 20 to 30 minutes for each individual.
If a written exam is held, it may take place in October/November, if not, the Interview may take place in August/September 2024.
