The registration URL for the 2024 session may be found by accessing the official JEE Main Registration NTA website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Select JEE Mains Apply Online’s “New Candidate Registration” option.

JEE Mains Application Fee 2024

JEE Main Eligibility 2024
The NTA has supplied all the information you need to know about the JEE Main qualifying requirements for 2024. Prior to applying, the candidate must confirm that they satisfy all qualifying conditions.
Age Limit
There is no age limit for JEE Main 2024.
Education Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam or an equivalent test from an approved board.
Only those candidates who completed the 10+2 or equivalent test in 2022, 2024, or who are taking the exam in 2024 will be qualified for JEE Main 2024.
Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational topic, or any other topic, should be among the five disciplines in which the applicants had to be competent.
Qualifying Marks
At least 75% of applicants (65% for SC/ST candidates) or those who score below the top 20 % on their respective boards are required for admission to the B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan programs.
Admission requirements for B.Arch programs in institutions other than IIITs, NITs, and CFITs are as follows: 50% of total points in maths, physics, and chemistry from 10+2 or above.
JEE Main Exam Date 2024
The JEE Main exam comprises two papers. In order to be admitted to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E./B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Universities/Institutions funded/recognized by participating State Governments, applicants must pass Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.).
It also serves as an eligibility exam for JEE (Advanced), which is administered to candidates for IIT entrance. Admission to the nation’s B. Arch and B. Planning programs is considered by the results of Paper 2.
The second session of JEE Main 2024 is scheduled to run from April 1 through April 15, 2024. The best score from either session will, however, be taken into account for determining merit and position for those who so wish.
