KARTET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 for Paper I and II in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.
Education Qualification:
Paper I: One must have completed Intermediate (Class 12) i.e. 2nd PUC with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, candidates should hold a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Paper II: A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, candidates must have completed either a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a two-year Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Age Limit:
Paper I: An individual should be between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
Paper II: A candidate must fall within the age range of 21 to 40 years.

KARTET 2024 Exam Date
The Teacher Eligibility Test is scheduled to be conducted on 30 June 2024 for both papers I and II, it will be organized by the School Education Department, Karnataka. The exam is anticipated to take place in offline mode, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. It will be held in two shifts, one for Paper I and another for Paper II, respectively.
Candidates are advised to stay updated with official announcements regarding the exam schedule and other relevant details. Once the date of the exam is announced officially we will update the date and timings here, on the day of exam, one has to report at the respective exam centre for Paper I or II at least an hour before the commencement timing with required documents.
