Mining Overman: a full-time, conventional mining diploma with a minimum of 60% from a recognized institution.
Mechanical Supervisor: a full-time, normal diploma in mechanical or production engineering with a minimum of 60% from a reputable institute.
Electrical Supervisor: a full-time, regular Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a reputable institution with at least 60%
Vocational Training Instructor: A minimum of 60% in a diploma program in mining, electrical, or mechanical engineering from an institution approved by the central government.
Junior Mine Surveyor: full-time, regular diplomas in mining survey, mining engineering, mining, and mine surveying, or civil engineering from reputable universities with a least 60%.
Mining Sirdar: a valid Mining Sirdar certificate of competence for coal issued by the DGMS and a Matric 10th pass from an accredited board.
Age Limit:
The applicant’s maximum age should be thirty (30) as of the online application deadline.
Selection Process for NTPC Recruitment 2024
A written exam and a skill test will be used to select applicants, per the official NTPC Recruitment 2024 announcement.
Written Test: The first phase will be the administration of a written exam with a maximum score of 100 marks. The test will consist of multiple-choice questions covering relevant discipline and topic content. There is a maximum 120-minute duration for the exam.
Skill/Competency Test: There will be a 100-mark skill/competency exam given in the relevant area. The qualifying score is 40% for candidates in the General/EWS category and 30% for those in the SC/ST/OBC category.
