Staff Selection Commission released the notification for SSC Selection Post Phase XII 2024 on February 26, 2024. Candidates who meet certain eligibility criteria need to know that the application form is available at https://ssc.nic.in/.

SSC Selection Post Phase 12 Exam Date 2024

Date for Selection Post Phase 12 Exam 2024 is announced officially by the Staff Selection Commission, it will be held on the 24th, 25th, 26th June 2024 in the Computer Based Test across the Nation with an exam time duration of 60 minutes, each question will be of 1 mark and there will be also a provision of negative marking of ¼ mark.

SSC Selection Post Phase 12 Application Fee 2024

To apply online for recruitment of Selection Post Phase 12, an individual will have to pay the required amount of 100 rupees using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI, if he or she belongs to General, Other Backward Class, or Economically Weaker Section. 

Note: Female, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Caste aspirants don’t need to pay any amount.

SSC Selection Post Phase 12 Eligibility Criterias 2024

Eligibility criteria for the Selection Post for Phase 12 for Matriculation, Intermediate and Degree level positions in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below.

Educational Qualification:

Matriculation: A candidate must have passed the Class 10 Exam from a recognised State or Central board.

Intermediate: An individual must have passed the Higher Secondary (12th) Exam with Science, Commerce or Arts stream.

Degree: One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a University Grant Commission recognised institution.

Age Limit:

To apply online for Matriculation, Intermediate or Degree level posts, an individual’s age must not be below 18 or above 30 years. There will be upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for Other Backward Class and Scheduled Tribes/Caste, respectively.

SSC Selection Post Phase 12 Selection Process 2024

Selection process for the SSC Selection Post Phase 12 Exam 2024 consists of three stages, which are Written Exam, Skill Tests (if required), and Document Verification. 

Written Exam:

Mode: Computer-Based Test

Duration: 60 minutes (1 hour)

Number of Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Question Type: Objective Type

Total Marks: 200 marks (2 marks for each correct answer)

Marking Scheme: Negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.

Sections:

    Part-A: General Intelligence (25 questions, 50 marks)

    Part-B: General Awareness (25 questions, 50 marks)

    Part-C: Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skills) (25 questions, 50 marks)

    Part-D: English Language (Basic Knowledge) (25 questions, 50 marks)

Medium: The examination will be bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi.

Skill Test:

Candidates who will clear the Computer Based Test will be called for this stage for the required post.

Document Verification:

    Skill Test (If needed) or CBT will be followed by Documentation, and then the final selection list will be prepared.
