TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment 2024
TANGEDCO invites online application forms from eligible Engineering Diploma holders passed during 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024 for the one-year Technician (Diploma) Apprentice posts under the 1973 Apprenticeship Amendment Act for 2024-25.
According to the notification, the organization plans to fill 500 Apprentice posts in various disciplines through this recruitment drive. The candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹8000 during the training period.
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements of the recruitment can apply for the TANGEDCO apprentice post from 10 July 2024 to 31 July 2024. The authority will publish the shortlisted candidates on 8 August 2024. The candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks in the qualifying examinations of the respective discipline.

TANGEDCO Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024

Residency:
Applicants hailing from Tamil Nadu can apply for the post.
Age Limit:
The age limit follows the apprenticeship rules set by the GOI and according to the rules, the minimum age for an apprentice is 14 years (18 years in the case of hazardous industries).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering or technology recognized by the State Council or Board of Technical Education under the State government or granted by the University in the relevant discipline or by an Institution recognized by the central or state government.
Exclusion:
Candidates undertaking any training or apprentice are not eligible for the apprenticeship program.
Steps to apply for the TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements and are willing to apply for the TANGEDCO Technician (Diploma) Apprentice can follow the below instructions:
Candidates should apply for the TANGEDCO on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal. Candidates who have already registered on the portal can directly apply for the apprenticeship in the latest engagement section by searching for TANGEDCO.
Candidates who will enroll for the first time on the NATS portal can follow the below steps to complete their registration and apply for the post:
Go to the official NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/
Next, click Student and select Student Register to access the application form.
Next, prepare the documents given on the portal like an Aadhar Card, passport-size photo, Mobile Number, the first page of the bank passbook, and all, and click on yes.
Next, enter your email address and mobile number for OTP verification.
After the OTP verification, complete the application form and upload all the required documents to create your profile on the portal and receive a unique 12-digit enrollment number.
Next, search for TANGEDCO on Apply against advertised vacancies section and apply for the apprentice.
After you click the Apply button, the status will turn to applied, your information has already been sent to the authority.
Candidates who have applied on the old NATS portal should follow the above steps to generate their new unique enrollment number and apply for the post as mentioned.
Candidates should apply for the apprentice post quickly as soon as the application opens on 10 July 2024 through the NATS portal till then you can make your profile on the NATS portal. Before applying, the candidates should ensure that all their educational certificates are uploaded on the portal.
