Candidates who want to participate in the UGC National Eligibility Test for June 2024 Session need to know that the application form is available by 20 April 2024 and then aspirants will be able to apply. UGC NET Exam Date 2024
Exam date for UGC NET for June 2024 is announced officially by National Testing Agency, it will be held in the Computer Based Test mode with an exam time duration of 03 hours on 21 August to 04 September 2024 in two shifts from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm, reporting time for 1st and 2nd shift is 7:30 am and 1:30 pm, respectively.
UGC NET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):

The upper age limit is 30 years as of the first day of the examination month.
There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/Third Gender categories.
Assistant Professor:

No lower or upper age limit.
Educational Qualification:
A candidate must have a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in their qualifying examination, while SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL/Third Gender candidates need only. 50% marks.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Postgraduate examination are also eligible to apply for UGC NET June 2024.
One who have pursued four-year i.e. eight-semester Bachelor’s degree or in the last semester/year are also eligible to participate in the UGC NET June 2024.
